Welcome!

The Mental Health Association in Waukesha County (MHA) is an independent nonprofit organization serving Waukesha, Dodge, Jefferson and Walworth Counties.

The mission of MHA is to promote mental health for all individuals and to work to improve the treatment and acceptance of people with a mental illness through advocacy, education, research, connection to resources, and direct service. 

MHA operates three programs that enables us to educate and serve the community including Community Prevention, Mobile Crisis Response, and 211/First Call For Help, a free, 24-hour helpline. Through its programs, MHA delivers additional services, including Community Outreach, Resource Center, Media Lending Library, Peer Support Helpline and a no charge Counseling Center.
