Peer Support Line
The Peer Support Line is a free, confidential support helpline for people with mental illness. Support is provided by Peer Support Specialists "who have been there." As individuals in recovery from mental illness, Peer Support Specialists are able to employ their own experience to help callers with daily living support and recovery needs and goals.

To work on the Peer Support Line, Peer Support Specialists undergo approximately 100 hours of intensive training. After training, they participate in workshops, in-services, and seminars to refine their skills.

The Peer Support Line is open weekdays 6 p.m.-2 a.m. and weekends 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Individuals can reach a Peer Support Specialist during these hours by dialing 2-1-1 or (262) 547-3388 and asking to speak to a Peer Support Specialist.
