Community education is vital both in promoting mental health and in overcoming the stigma associated with mental illness. Our Video Lending Library offers free rentals of videos designed to make relevant information easily available to groups and organizations serving residents of Waukesha County, from preschoolers through adults.
Our videos are categorized according to age-appropriate audience. You can view a list of age-appropriate titles (which, for some videos whose titles are not self-explanatory, includes a brief description of content). For a more complete listing, you can contact Community Prevention Education Specialist (see Step #2 below) to order our Video Lending Library pamphlet. The pamphlet contains a brief description of each video as well as its approximate viewing time. Although titles are grouped by age category, the titles are sometimes repeated where there may be overlap, and your class/group may also enjoy and learn from a video outside its age category.
1. Make you selection from list of videos described in online catalog.
2. Contact Community Prevention Education Office at mail@mhawauk.org or at (262) 547-0769 to place your reservation. Please call at least one week in advance of the date in which you need the video.
3. Your order will be prepared for you to pick up at MHA office. The address is S22 W22660 E. Broadway, Suite 5-S, Waukesha, WI 53186. Our office is on the northwest corner of Hwy 164 and Broadway on Waukesha's east side.
4. There is a drop off box located in the foyer area entered from the outside. Check to see if your order is there. If it is not, and the office is open, come in and ask the receptionist for your order.
